Haro Leucadia – a functional all-round freestyle BMX
The Haro Leucadia is a mid-level freestyle BMX designed as a reliable all-round bike for street, park and general freestyle riding. The latest version features a lighter frame and carefully selected components that focus on function and durability rather than looks.
The bike is built around a new Diamond NHT frame with updated dropouts and tube profiles. A 20.5" top tube length makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of riders and riding styles. An integrated seat clamp keeps the design clean and helps reduce weight.
Drivetrain duties are handled by Haro 1978 3-piece CrMo cranks with a modern 25/9 gearing setup. The wheelset uses alloy rims and a cassette rear hub for reliable engagement and long-term durability. Braking is provided by a Tektro brake with a Haro 78 hinged lever, completing a build focused on dependable performance.
Compatibility and construction
The Diamond NHT frame is designed for everyday freestyle use and long-term durability. Features such as 3-piece cranks, a cassette hub and solid axles are included because they work better in practice, not just for appearance. This reflects Haro’s long-standing freestyle BMX philosophy.
