Alpinestars Bionic Action V2 Jacket – lightweight, ventilated and CE-certified body protection

Alpinestars Bionic Action V2 Jacket is a next-generation protection system designed for the physical demands of motocross, enduro and downhill riding. Built with innovative Outer Shell Grid (OSG) technology, this jacket combines high impact absorption, low weight and excellent ventilation in one ergonomic package. It’s engineered from durable elastane stretch mesh and integrates seamlessly with Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support (BNS).

Advanced protection with freedom to move

The single-injected polymer shells feature an integrated grid structure that absorbs and dissipates impact forces while maintaining flexibility. Each plate is perforated for optimal airflow and cooling, helping prevent heat buildup during long rides. The ergonomic shell design follows the natural curve of the back, while plate locking prevents overextension during a crash. Despite its high protection level, the Bionic Action V2 remains extremely light and flexible.

Custom fit and compatibility

The jacket is designed to adapt to a wide range of body types, with the back protector developed in three waist-to-shoulder sizes. Adjustable shoulder, elbow and lateral straps ensure a secure, personalized fit. The removable upper back panel makes it fully compatible with Alpinestars BNS or other neck brace systems, while the kidney belt tightens the back protector firmly against the body for enhanced stability.

Comfort and construction

The main body is made of a new technical elastane stretch mesh that’s breathable, durable and shape-retaining. Large vented channels improve airflow, keeping the rider cool even under a jersey. The jacket features a premium auto-lock YKK front zipper and soft-touch BNS puller for convenience and safety. Reinforced shoulder zones maintain protector position even under heavy impact.
