Kids motocross goggles Alpinestars Vision Youth Corp in a black frame with a clear lens — a scaled-down Vision 5 Corp, built for youth helmets.
Kids motocross goggles Alpinestars Vision Youth Corp in a black frame with a clear lens are a scaled-down version of the adult Vision 5 Corp — same construction, just sized for a smaller face and a youth helmet. The A-FLEX urethane frame molds to the face without pressure points around the nose or temples. The polycarbonate lens with anti-fog coating carries UV400 protection and tear-off posts for quick film changes mid-moto or mid-race. Built for young riders on motocross and enduro who need the same level of protection as adults, just in the right size.
Alpinestars built Vision Youth Corp as a ground-up smaller model, not a trimmed-down adult goggle. The frame runs narrower at the temples and lower across the nose bridge, so it seals on a smaller face instead of leaving gaps that let dust or rain through. The A-FLEX material stays pliable over a long moto — it doesn't stiffen up or dig into one spot the way harder plastics do. Moisture channels molded into the frame route sweat away from the lens, cutting down on it running into the sight line during hard riding in warm weather.
The lens has tear-off posts on both sides — during a race, a stack of films goes on and gets peeled off one at a time as they cake up with mud. The anti-fog coating works independently of the tear-offs, so vision stays clear even when a kid is waiting at the gate or standing in the pits with the goggle already on.
The clear lens falls into filter category 0 (on a 0–4 scale, where 4 is darkest) with 90±3% light transmission. It suits overcast conditions, indoor tracks, or low light — for bright sun, Alpinestars sells tinted and mirrored lenses for the Vision Youth line separately.
The foam around the frame runs two layers: a firmer 15mm EO15 foam that holds its shape and seals against dust, and a softer chamois layer against the skin. A 100 PPI vent foam covers the frame's air ports — it lets air through while catching the coarser debris before it reaches the lens.
Full technical specs are in the Specifications tab on the product page.
Alpinestars sells the whole Vision Youth line in one size and doesn't publish a specific age or head-circumference range. The safest approach is trying the goggle on the kid together with the helmet they already use — the strap has enough adjustment range for common youth full-face helmets.
Yes, the lens has tear-off posts, same as the adult Vision line. The tear-off films themselves are bought separately as needed for a muddy race or practice session.
The frame is built for youth full-face helmets and the strap adjusts to a typical head-plus-helmet circumference. On helmets with an unusually narrow goggle port, try the combination on the kid before buying rather than going off spec sheets alone.
The construction and tech (A-FLEX frame, anti-fog lens, tear-off posts, RAM-AIR venting) match the adult Vision 5 Corp. What changes is the frame size and strap length, both scaled down for a kid's head and a youth helmet.

A great shop with a thoroughly professional yet human approach. I have been ordering from them for a long time and there has never been any problem. Communication works perfectly and you know where you stand right from the start.
I now have my second Haro bike from Katmar Bike Center – this time an e-bike. Completely satisfied. Professional and helpful approach. I warmly recommend this shop.
Reliable. I bought a new chain, it turned out to be unsuitable, but exchanging it for another one was no problem.
