The FUNN Clast represents the ideal solution for cyclists seeking a balance between the efficiency of a clipless system and the confidence of a flat platform. These hybrid pedals feature an SPD mechanism on one side for secure engagement and optimal energy transfer. The other side boasts a flat platform with 8 replaceable pins, perfect for technical sections, riding in casual shoes, or demanding adventure expeditions.
The pedal body is constructed from durable ADC10 die-cast aluminum alloy, ensuring high structural integrity. The internal mechanism relies on a robust CrMo axle, supported by a full-length bushing and a sealed cartridge bearing. This construction maximizes resistance to contamination and significantly extends service intervals.
Compatibility and Construction
The pedals are fully compatible with the SPD (Shimano Pedaling Dynamics) system, offering a 5-degree float and an 18-degree release angle, providing knee comfort and reliable release. With a 54mm Q-factor, they ensure a natural stance crucial for long days in the saddle.
